Pumpkin Power Seeds | Recipe to Boost Your Immune System

Immune Boosting Pumpkin Seeds deborah enos recipe

My favorite immune boosting pumpkin seed recipe

Ingredients:

Raw Pumpkin seeds (I usually buy these from Trader Joe’s)

Barlean’s Coconut Oil

Dried/unsweetened Cranberry or Cherries

Directions: Add 1 tsp of Barlean’s Coconut oil (click here for a coupon!) to a warm sauté pan (medium heat). Once the oil melts, add in 1 cup of pumpkin seeds and cook for about 1 minute. Caution! These seeds might “pop” out of the pan when they get hot so be careful and keep stirring them around for the entire minute.

Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the stove. Add in ¼ cup of the dried fruit and a sprinkle of salt.

You now have a delicious sweet & salty immune boosting snack that you can add to salads or eat all on their own.

¼ cup is a serving size.
